In this episode, Coco starts off discussing statutes and regulations that are made to be as unclear and convoluted as possible. That needs to change, and the way to do that is easier than you’d think; you need to VOTE.
Voting is extremely important to the well-being of our nation. Many people don’t vote because they are frustrated and feel that their vote doesn’t count. It’s precisely that kind of thinking that keeps your vote from counting. If everyone who feels that way decided to vote, good, honest, caring people might actually have a chance of getting elected.
The reason you feel like your vote doesn’t count is because the people who don’t want your vote to count make you feel that way. They make it as difficult as possible for poor and minority populations to vote, and they foster the thinking that says that your vote is worthless.
Please, please, please educate yourself on the elections taking place in your state this November. Go to Vote411.org, search your address and find out where your polling place is, how to register, as well as all kinds of invaluable information on candidates in your area. Take the time to do your homework and do what you can to make our country a better place. Make your vote count by getting rid of the bad guys who manage to stay in office because people choose not to exercise their right to vote.
Finally, listen as Coco give some advice to a caller who successfully divorced his franchise, and needs to know what to do with his excess inventory with the company logo on it.
